hi all, new here. stumbled onto some old forum content while searching the web and liked the site. my name is mel and I am from NY (the hunting and farming part). Been shooting and hunting most of my life. I recently discovered the .300 whisper and want to own one. I have an encore and would like to run a 200 - 240 smk subsonic. I need/want a 10 or 12 in. barrel. At 1x8 twist looks like SSK is the only game in town. I found their(SSK) web site frustrating. Cannot find any used ones for sale.
