Indonesian Pindad M7 bayonet for the SS1 (FNC) rifle

Just closed a deal on one of these Pindad M7 bayonets. Its presently sitting in Customs down in Sydney. When I get it cleared, I'll post some pics. Interesting blade and black M8 style scabbard, both Pindad marked.

Cheers,

Wes

Here's a few shots of the one I picked up a few months ago. Person I purchased it from claims to have gotten it in Cambodia.

Nice Mate! Nice!

I eagerly await the arrival of mine. The wankers siezed it, I guess they can't tell a bayonet from a knife. Anyways, it should be here by next week, as they have now been 'educated'.

Cold beers,

Wes

Well, those knobs at Customs finally released the bayonet, but I missed it's delivery by a day, so had this bayonet forwarded up to me here in Darwin in the NT as I am here for another month on the job.

Interesting bayonet, but a much inferior version to the generic US M7 and Cdn C7 bayonets in what appears not only in design (short cuts) but also in quality. However not to whinge, but its truly a good collectors piece and an asset to my ever growning collection of M7's.

Cold beers (you need one [ or more] here in the tropics - believe me),

Wes
