Yes I understand that, but I live in Michigan and we cannot own a suppressor so the fast twist of 1 in 8" does not help me much if using bullets below 150 grain supersonic.

If you are only going to shoot supersonic there are better cartridges available then the Blackout. If you want a blackout with a slower twist any one of us can easily make that for you.

Thanks for the info, I already have a 7.62x40mm and 7.62 ARk for the AR-15, but was considering the 300 blackout because of factory ammo. Maybe best to see how things develop and when ammo becomes more available.

300 AAC projects are going well, looks like weather may hamper further testing tomorrow, but may want to see about running the Blackout in piles of snow!
Going to be doing the Savage barrels this week hopefully, doing another short run of 16'' 300 BLK AR barrels too, and probably switch over to some 700 barrels then. SO busy right now I can't half keep my head on straight, but there is always something going on in my world.
I'm going to be doing as much Custom Shop work as I am production as production gets a bit boring but it is also the meat and potatoes. Among all the barrels gas blocks and muzzlebreaks are also hanging over my head! This whole 300 thing is snowballing on a lot of people.

Four of my barrels 300aac will be at shotshow on somebodies table.Another mfg in the game.Can't say who that is.I am a barrel maker but does that make me a mfg?There's another well known mfg that has had my barrels at shot show for years.I can't say who that is either.

Cant quite understand why some say theyre gonna be at SHOT but wont say which manufacturer theyll be with? Last time i checked It was Good business to announce who youll be working for, not keep it a secret. It represents PRIDE in your work and those you work for and says ALOT for your product! fellers this aint a peeing contest! its about getting excited because of our RIGHT to shoot and own "cool stuff" is shared by others! im tickled pink Triton Arms is a member with us I you and thanks for showing up.
