If you have to redrill or do anything manufacturer wise to make it work then you shouldn't have paid that manufacturer for their product, because they didn't do the job you paid them for. Would you pay for someone to put up a fence and then have to modify it after the fact so you could open the gate? As much as 300Whisper is a wildcat it isn't that difficult to make it right the first time.

Nothing was done aside the manufacturing of it. Pistol gas port(as all 300W should be in my opinion). Parts were pieced together from various vendors, and I am starting to make barrels so that takes away that variable.

In my opinion and experience over the years with anything you want done right you get specific parts from specific vendors, you want a kit gun thats one thing but you won't find one that doesn't have some issues in 300W. Piece the project together yourself and you are sure to be better off. Downside it will cost you more, but in the long run usually costs FAR less.
