How many laws would you be breaking if you shot one? What fine or jail sentence would you get assuming your bullet didn't over penetrate and hit the guy in the pickup.

What city is that?

I frequently have deer in my lawn. They're in no danger either.
Lou, its called "the rut" and the big ones with the pointy things in their head are chasing the smaller ones without the pointy things to make baby elk.
The smaller ones get herded around by the big ones and occasionally cross the roadways and streets before blending into the ponderosa forests in the backround..... where the dirty business is done by both the larger ones with erections and the guys with crossbows and whispers.

Every once in a while I go ahead and run over one (by accident) and eat it. They dont taste any different than the ones that get shot.

There are truly a dangerous excess of these animals in this area due to our wonderful DOW's mismanagement of herds.

I had deer harvested from the desert near Hillsborogh NM and can understand why you dont eat "desert deer". worst tasting filth I ever ate...dogs shouldnt be subjected to eating them.
Colorado front range elk on the other hand.......
