Fire forming

Howdy One Shot. I've read the replies you have been given, and also your other thread on 300/221. I assume your fire forming 300/221 brass. My experience with this centres around IHMSA shooting. When we fire form cases that have been expanded, we just load our standard competition load (which would only be a medium load) and then just shoot the round off. We would do this during practice, and then use the newly formed cases for competion use. We do this for 300/221 (which we call 300Whisper in Australia), 7TCU and also for 22K Hornet. Use lead cast projectiles for the cost factor. I use lead cast for comp anyway. Cheers, Yulie.
