Looks like I might get my turn about Christmas at this rate!
After just two uses, the Jig became damaged. It was shipped back to Quarterbore for repair. QB is having some family issues right now, so, the repair is taking a little time. Hopefully, it will go back out shortly.

Thanks for updating this for me... For those that d not know my brother suffered a home invasion and details are here:

http://www.quarterbore.net/forums/fo...play.php?f=133

It has been a long couple weeks but a group of guys came out this past weekend and helped finish up some projects for my Brother and his family but it is still going to be a long hall.

I spent some time last week looking at what the problem was and it looks like the alignment pins were mounted off center just a little. I didn't notice when I bent my flat but it was a new jig and I only bent one with it before sending it out. With use the bin that was improperly located simply bent the steel around the pin until it finally worked it's way free.

I have two DPH jigs and I am going to spend some time tonight getting my other jig marked up like I did to the other jig and I will just send my other jig out. I wasn't originally going to do this but it looks like I am going to need to make a new bottom plate for the jig that is damaged and the locations of those holes are critical.

The biggest issue now is I need to make up a huge number of hours at work or I don't get paid and my wife is starting to lose patience with all my time distractions as well...

So, I need to stamp the other jig to make it clear that people hould not press directly on the jig, plus I am going to build a smaller shipping box to reduce the shipping costs, and then I will try to get this shipped tomorrow (Oct-18th).

Sorry for the huge delay...

Hey, QB....my offer still stands for fixing the damaged Jig.

Just by your description, the hole the alignment pin sits in needs enlarged. Then, a piece of steel rod turned to press fit into the enlarged hole. Then the top part of that pin turned to the diameter of the hole in the Jig.

This is just my thought, actual milage may vary.

Don't worry about the timeframe on getting the Jig back out. Family first, then playthings :-)

Stupid question:
Is this thing under warranty? Did the guy who made it back it up?

I have the jig all packed up... I didn't have the time tonight to stamp the living piss out of my second jig so PLEASE remember to NOT use your press rod directly on the jig... Use the steel flat stock as enclosed with the tools.

DarkKnight I sent you a IM asking if you have your press yet... The jig will ship tomorrow. Sorry again for the delay and if I can get the other jig fixed I may send that out as well.

QB
