If you have an A2 stock and like that style, you can buy a shorter version of the stock you have which is an A1.

What optic or sights are you using on the rifle?

Do you shoot nose to charging handle?

What kind of price range are you looking to stay around?

What did you find uncomfortable about the carbine stocks you tried and what kind were they?

You mentioned that it is too short for you when fully collapsed which is the case for most people and it is why there are multiple positions.
