I have a 10.5" model from a previous batch. I have to say that mine is probably the best barrel I have ever laid hands on. I shoot everything from 125gr noslers to 220gn sierras. This is ofcourse including 147gr pulled surplus. At 100 yards I can get 1/4" grouping 4 outta 5 times with all but the pulled stock. Pulled stock Im getting about 3/4" only because its a blaster load and that kind of accuracy is fine for shooting clays on the hill.
Also to address the gas block issue some of you brought up. I have to say that mine has worked with no modification right from the start. I measured the gas hole *which is posted somewhere on here* at about .0925 - .0950. I find that this size doesnt kill you with recoil on supersonics, and is also enough to cycle subsonics. And just to throw this in there, my 147's are subsonic.
The only problems I can think of in the past 2 years is the finish. Its kinda fragil on mine. I accidently scratched my removing the gas block once. I do usually use clp or rem oil on the barel when doing this, but I guess I didnt use enough ot i was a little too hard with it. But Ive done this so many times with other barrels that I can't see myself deviating from the routine that far.
The other problem is that I don't get to shoot it near enough as I want. But I think that probelm effects everyone who own this caliber.
So get one if you can, enjoy it, and stay safe.
