They don't work on my work machine... That's pretty damn strange. I'll check when I get home.

That's the kevlar varmant stock right? I have a few questions about that if you don't mind. I'll PM you and add along my email address.

I cut the entire scallop out on my mag and shortened the followers feet about .1". Now it holds six.

Agreed! I'd love to hear more about that. If it was only .1" I wonder why they didn't just design it that way?

I'll cut the entire dimple if I could fit 6, in a heart beat.

Mine was built on a .223 by Patriot Arms. (now American Precision Arms)
They did not cut out the indentations in the magazine. At the time, they said they typically build Whispers on a 7.62X39 gun as the mag does not require modification. They charged $35 extra to mod the .223 mag to accept Whisper cartridges. I have since bought an extra mag to modify like they did.
