I used a vise with smooth jaws to fit the tube.Cut in the gas block goes down .8" so 3/4" or 5/8" into the gas block will work.If you have equipment clamp two steel plates together in a vise and drill down at the edge with a 3/16" drill.That will give you a straightening block.The stainless tube is exactly .180" dia. and strong stuff.Send me the new tube if you didn't cut it.
