It took me 8.5 grains of VV N110 with an 18" barrel. I just loaded up some 125 grain NBT's yesterday, but the wind has been ridiculous around here lately, to the point of blowing my chronograph over, so no point in testing for accuracy right now. Still waiting on my can though. It will probably be another month or two before it even gets built, then I begin the wait for the Form 4. Lots of waiting.

Hey, I finished a 300/.221 on Stevens 200 and looking for load data. How the VV N110 works for you? I tryed h110 and 220gr SMK ans 125Gr nosler grouping about 1.25" @ 100y

I have completed the upper but I'm still waiting on the ATF before I take possession of the can though. Since I don't have the can yet, I haven't loaded any rounds. I could load a baseline but I haven't decided on powder yet. I've got the 240gr SMK's and some brass ready so I'm close. Any powder load suggestions for this bullet from a 10.5" barrel would be greatly appreciated though...

You probably already know this - but - I would get them around the speed you want before the can is attached. I nearly screwed up a good can with a slower than expected 220. Good luck....

Actually I hadn't thought of that, but it makes sense. Thanks for the heads up.

The only subsonic stuff I've done before this was with a suppressed .22LR, so there is not a roll your own option. This is all new to me so any little tips like that are welcome.
