DTA MKII Suppressor

After a long wait the stamp came and the can is in my hand.
I have been using my AAC 762sd on all of my 300 Whisper guns
and have been very happy with how quiet it is until now.
The MKII is half the weight but 3 inches longer with many
more baffles and thread on only.
I used it on the TC Contender first then the AR's and with the fist
shot i thought oh shit i must have messed up my hand loaded ammo
and made a low powder charge round, so i opened the gun and looked
through the barrel and can to make sure all was clear.
I decided to pull out the croni and put a couple rounds through without a can and test the speeds, 1040 fps, 1037fps .
I put the can back on and shot another round and Dammmmm
this is super quiet like close to a 22lr sub round with my Aviator or Spectre
quiet.
The AR is quieter with the MKII but not as much because of the action noise until i turn the gas off.
The MKII will be my dedicated can for single shot and B Action for the 300
whisper and the 762 will stay with the AR's because of the QD.
I'm very happy with this purchase and thank you James Degroat
for a fantasic can.

Robert
The AR in this pic is 223 not the 300 whisper

.

Hi, how long is your can? maybe it much quieter because the noise is further from your ear as well?

The DTA can is 12 inches the 762 is 8+ inches.
The DTA was still quieter when i was 10 ft away and down range 75 yrds when someone else was shooting the gun past me. I was peeking out from behind a backstop for safety .

what sold me was the weight. My Cyclone is way to heavy.

+1
My 762sd made the gun feel very nose heavy compared to the DTA RECON.
The DTA RECON spanks the 9mm cans for quiet when used on the 300 whisper
and weighs close to the same.
