Current Del-Ton uppers, quality, gas tube arrangement?

Got to have a 300 Whisper upper! Does anyone know what the twist rate is of the upper? I assume it is the same 1/8 rate of the barrel they advertise? Is the gas tube in the carbine position? The price is quite reasonable. My research here indicates I want my gas tube in the pistol position but $425 complete with bolt and carrier is hard to beat...

Thoughts on these uppers?

Del-tons stuff is good but their wait is unreal. Expect to wait at least 16 weeks. I have had a 300 fireball barrel on order with them since Oct and they have no idea when it will be in. The twist is 1/8 but the gas port is a carbine position. If you are set on wanting one of their uppers I would send it to a company like ADCO and have them modify the gas port. I had them work on another barrel that I had and they used my subsonic ammo and worked with it until it ran right. I think they used about 20 rounds to get it done but there hasn't been a problem with it yet.
