The longer your barrel, the quieter your gun will be. So far as I know, all the 9mm cans will work with subsonic loads, especially from a 16 inch barrel which is about as long as you want to go with the 300-221. Obviously you don't need the booster.

Another can to look at is the AAC Cyclone-K. I don't recall the price on the SWR, but a lot of 9x19mm cans cost as much as a 308 can. Of course the 308 can can't be moved to a 9x19mm upper like a 9mm can can. If you think you might do that, then get the SWR. The Trident is a decent can according to numbers I have seen. Also SWR seems to have decent customer service.

Please report back how it does. I'm going with a Form-1 myself. I thought that would save me money. That was naive in the extreme. OK, I would have saved money by going with a basic freeze plug design.
