newbie help deciding on a micro lathe/mill

hi guys,

i'm new to this forum and i would appreciate some help deciding on what lathe/mill to get.
i have no machinist experience and this would be my first lathe/mill but i'm willing to learn.

the pieces i need to make are made of steel (some brass and aluminum) and are micro sized (almost like watch sized pieces)

based on the research i made i came to the conclusion to decide between taig and sherline (still dont know which one to get) but my budged can go a bit higer, so I would really apreciate if you guys can give me a few other options that are a class up to the sherline or taig for the work i need to do.
maybe proxxon or maybe something else?
i really apreciate comments/sugestions.
