New 300 owner

I see what you mean about the spring rate.I guess its worth a try to cut the stock spring as they only cost a few bucks.I may check into the Wolff spring anyway.Unfortunately I have to go out of town on a business trip so testing will have to wait a week.
I can dedicate this rifle to the 300 fireball,as I already have a AR SBR in 14.5" 223 and one in 11.5" 6x45.
I wish I could get a suppressor for it,but "not happening "in this state.
I hated Night schedules,glad I dont work them anymore.
