Well I got to pull the trigger today

. Loading one round in the chamber with no mag in place, gas block screw all the way in, I found that the block does not actually shut all the gas off. It caused a "stove pipe". I then opened the block 3 full turns and had my first full ejection

. Then I put two in a mag and had FTE's. I opened the adjustable block a total of 6 turns with no better luck

.
Off with the FF tube, off with the gas block. The gas port started life at 0.0625". I pulled out a #45 bit, 0.082" and enlarged the port. Put it all back together and it now runs two with no problem

.
I've not tried loading an entire mag and seeing what the additional pressure on the bolt is going to do. I also have no idea what is going to happen when I try to shoot subs. For the time being, I am happy with the outcome. I was shooting 14gr of 2400 under a Hornady 150gr FMJ BT (#3037B), 223 brass and CCI primers.
I have some 240gr SMK's ordered, but don't plan on loading subs until my can is in hand.
