HANDLE: 4.00" from guard to (but not including) the.buttcap.
Material stainless steel
- Special features
1) Knurled for secure grip.
2) Hollow (7/8" dia) for water proof storage.
-blade/handle attachment sealed with epoxy
*This is from my Buck Collectors Club info as I am almost done with EVERY variation of the BuckMaster 184 knife.

I submitted this question to Joe Houser back when it first appeared here. Joe was not sure what material was used but was going to see if any of the old timers at Buck might have the information. I know it is stainless, do you know what alloy they used?

Had Meeting with Mr CJ BUCK today. Handle and pins are made out of 400 series stainless steel. Good to know. Mr Porter we need you as a member in the BCCI. Not only do you get cool newsletters and chances to buy knifes at special prices. Then you can write the info on the Phrobis/BUCK M-9 hah! CJ is a GREAT guy. I learn alot of info today. The first variation
with BUCK,184,U.S.A. stamped in it is NOT 2600 more like 15000. He is getting the exact amount of #'s for me in a week or less. That way I can update the info I wrote for the 184 history, variations, styles, accessories etc.. There were 5.5 differant variations of just 184 BuckMaster series. This is not including Custom Shop made knifes.
