What are the specific M1S problems?

I used a M1S barrel on my own build. The only trouble I had was poor accuracy (4-5"@100yds). I lapped the barrel and now have a rifle damn close to 1MOA. So that I could fire both super and subsonics I used an adjustable gas block.
It took some time at the range but it does run reliably and accurately now.
