Check out Kenton Industries. They make custom knobs for many scopes. They said they would cowitness a drop for subs and a drop for supers on the same knob. You have to come up with your own data and required offset between the two zeros. I will try this on a Leupold M3 since it has the 1 MOA adjustments to move me around quicker. I hope to get my drop chart info finished and sent to them this year so they can engrave. As far as a scope under $500 goes, I just bought a Leupold Mark 2 for $500 and a Burris Tac-30 for under $300 and the Burris is much better. The Burris has a 30mm tube with 80 MOA adjustment. They also put bigger lenses in the bigger tube unlike other manufacturers. The ballistic plex reticle is also useful for impromtu long shots with subs. Another option: I had Premier put a dual drop reticle in a Leupold M8 for my suppressed/chopped .308 so I can shoot subs and supers without touching knobs. It works great, but the fine crosshair disappears when using nightvision.
