I have a Sheldon lathe manual....

but the lathe got gone before I could get 'it'.
Anyone needing a Sheldon lathe manual?
Of course, now I need to go out into the shop and see which model it is,,but that will require getting up out of my chair..................
I have no use for this manual.

I would love to borrow it... I just want to scan it and put it on the Lathe Resource CD that I sell to support the website. After it is scanned I will return the manual along with a CD with all the rest of the manuals that I have been able to collect.

PM me if we can work this out!

Thanks,
Ken

That would be great,,,,

then more could benefit from it.
My son did a color repro with my Clausing 5413 lathe manual for a friend. Then he made 3 or 4 more. He is too busy to do it anymore tho. The copiers at his Civil Engineering office did a GREAT job. Color was 'just' to be able to reproduce the very few RED entrys in the exploded parts pages.
Will get your info this evening,,late for work.

SHELDON stuff,,,,

I have a mustard [yellow] colored manual with 'all' the Sheldon models in it, another book "LATHES OPTIONS and ACCESSORIES", and a price book "SHELDON Machine Tools PRICE LIST.
I'll send the whole package in. The BOOK manual is stapled, squared binding. It could get injured in the copying process but that's ok,,as long as the data gets a good 'copy' for the CD. You can decide if it needs 'unstapleing' or just flattened on copier/scanner.

Guess I'll ship in a box to protect it all.
Oh, also have a SHELDON

Sheldon lathe manual

Which lathe is your manual for? I have just aquired an older style sheldon lathe. I believe it to be a twelve inch from the late thirties but im not sure. My lathe has a plate on the screwcutting gear box saying that it was commissioned by the war department. I will be posting some picturers soon, but does anyone have more info on this piece of equipment?
