I have a Sheldon lathe manual....

but the lathe got gone before I could get 'it'.
Anyone needing a Sheldon lathe manual?
Of course, now I need to go out into the shop and see which model it is,,but that will require getting up out of my chair..................
I have no use for this manual.

I would love to borrow it... I just want to scan it and put it on the Lathe Resource CD that I sell to support the website. After it is scanned I will return the manual along with a CD with all the rest of the manuals that I have been able to collect.

PM me if we can work this out!

Thanks,
Ken

That would be great,,,,

then more could benefit from it.
My son did a color repro with my Clausing 5413 lathe manual for a friend. Then he made 3 or 4 more. He is too busy to do it anymore tho. The copiers at his Civil Engineering office did a GREAT job. Color was 'just' to be able to reproduce the very few RED entrys in the exploded parts pages.
Will get your info this evening,,late for work.

SHELDON stuff,,,,

I have a mustard [yellow] colored manual with 'all' the Sheldon models in it, another book "LATHES OPTIONS and ACCESSORIES", and a price book "SHELDON Machine Tools PRICE LIST.
I'll send the whole package in. The BOOK manual is stapled, squared binding. It could get injured in the copying process but that's ok,,as long as the data gets a good 'copy' for the CD. You can decide if it needs 'unstapleing' or just flattened on copier/scanner.

Guess I'll ship in a box to protect it all.
Oh, also have a SHELDON

Sorry, I did get the box... I think it showed up Monday but darned work has been a PITA and it will be another late night tonight... I will try to get these scanned and returned ASAP with the CD but I may not get to do this until the weekend (I hope I don't need to work this weekend )

no hurry at all,,just making sure it got there.

thanks. Hope it helps out some 'manual less' Sheldon owners.

Sorry, looks like I have some unexpected problems... I had upgraded our Adobe Accorbat to 6.0 (had a disc from work that we were thowing out) and it seems my Printer software does not like Adobe 6.0

I have spent several hours last night trying to get new drivers for my scanner and it is a No Go so far... The bad part is that I can't find my old Adobe 5.0 disk

I have another scanner in the basement (it is an older flatbed scanner) and I need to see if I can get that to work and if not I will need to scan this at work of buy a nes scanner. The manuals look great but darn if I had expected the problems...
