Just to add a little bit from my own research.
If you make it and ive in the USA then its a US made part.
If you modify an imported part, its still an imported part.
There is some disbute as to permenantly attaching the muzzle device to the barrel. Some argue that this 'create' a single imported part. I would write to the BATFE and get something back in writing from them before I counted that way.
