I ordered a set of 338BR dies from CH4D & was told it would be 14-16 weeks. When did they have them in stock? SSK said buy a brl & you can buy the dies. RCBS told me to contact SSK. :mad: Thanks, Ron

You could run some 223 brass & trim to length. I just finished 50 cases using some once fired LC93 military brass. Loaded case comes in at .333 neck dia:smile:

Is the gas port in the pistol or carbine position? Model 1 in carbine position uses .125 gas port. I am new to the whisper also. Ron

I was thinking 10-12". Any sugestions on what length would be best for reliability? I will be running this in an AR15 platform. This would also leave enough blank for a 15-16" brl for supersonic use....
