The year of this knife can be determined by the "<" date code. We have the date codes that Buck used on M9Bayonet.com (http://m9bayonet.com/buck-phrobis-m9.html) so this is a 1986 made knife.

Box is a Patent Pending Buck-184 box but the knife is clearly a post patent Buckmaster.

Ebay is the best place to sell these knives... With the box and accessories these are easily worth $200 or more and some have been selling in the $300 or higher range lately for mint in box...
