I have an AWC .30 cal Thundertrap (26oz) and a SWR Trident 9 (9oz). I can run either on my Whisper. I run the 9mm can due to weight. They between my 2 I can not tell a difference.

Well first off there is no FEDERAL ban any more so it does not matter. If you live in a state that has restrictive laws that were the same as the Federal law they will still need to be followed.

Interesting. I never thought about doing that. I have a LOT of tracers I got years back on sale but since they get kinda warm dont use them much.

As I stated above I ran my Thundertrap on mine prior to getting my Trident. The only difference I can tell is in the weight. I noticed no sound difference.

I was using a .30 cal AWC Thundertrap on mine but at 26oz it made it VERY front heavy.

I am now running a SWR Trident 9 on it. I run SS ONLY in this gun, I have a .308 if I want to go supersonic....

I think the 20's are more popular since guys use guns with bipods. When using a bipod 30rd mags hang down too far. I use 20's in my guns that I use off bipods.

Dont know what he was loading in his. I do know they were SS so I am guessing as close to 1050 fps he could.

I shoot Hornday 220gr RN's using 11.3gr 1680. They sounded good all summer(at ~1040)...

I have about 250 rounds of "Whisper" brass made from .221 cases. I also have about 1k of "Whisper" brass made from LC 223. All has been once fired.

Being the the cases are slightly different...
