Off the "shelf" AR Whisper that works
I bought a YHM 7.62 suppressor to use specifically with a whisper subsonic but I don't have the weapon yet. I want a bolt gun, a AR carbine and a AR pistol in this caliber. I finally decided to do the AR first, actually because it seems the least costly way to go and be able to try out the suppressor. I bought a couple of new virgin receivers to use hoping to find and buy upper assemblies and finish the lowers myself. I have been reading about all of the problems associated with making them cycle reliably and am hoping to avoid all of that. So the big question is; is there a place to buy a 300 whisper or 300/221 AR15 upper receiver assembly either in pistol or carbine form that functions properly "out of the box". I have been reading this forum for awhile but stopped for awhile when there were some sort of problems going on, a virus or something. I have searched the forum for an answer to this question so I wouldn't ask a question that has been beat to death and haven't found anything specific. Still though, I apologize up front if I overlooked the answer and this is an old answered question. If it is please direct me to the threads I can read. Thank you very much!!
