annealing/methods

do you anneal your case necks? recommended?? what is your method to anneal? do you anneal virgin brass?? let see I think that about covers it (I will be working up 300 whisper loads, subsonic only, should be mild, I would think annealing would not matter on such a mild load, sorta like 45acp )

I've seen people anneal by putting the brass in a tub filling it up with water to the neck of the case and then hitting them with a blow torch.

Virgin brass is usually very soft. For annealing I use the 1/2 inch of water in a pan and heat the necks then knock them over.
