I have a M1S upper and it cycled just fine once I got the right powder. I had to go to a slower burning powder (1680) to get it to work H-110 would not work. 11.5 gr 1680 over a 220gr SMK works out of MagPul mags.
Here's a video of me shooting it.
Here's an adjustable gas tube from Brownells. I was thinking of giving it a try, but my upper cycles subsonic just fine as is. Gas port in the carbine location.
I still may try one out if I decide to shoot some supersonic. Noveske also has a regulated gas block due out in about 3 weeks, easier to adjust for guys like me with an optic over the handguard.

If you're in a fair fight your tactics suck.
I bought the ArmForte AGT from Midway USA. I would not recommend it. It's on the loose side. Mine cycles just fine too. My gas port is in the carbine position. I plan on using my 300 Fireball for pig hunting so I'll be shooting both super sonic and sub-sonic rounds.
Believe it or not I was hitting the plate(about 2-3" above the dirt) and the spray was kicking up the dirt. The sound isn't the best it hard to hear the smack on the steel. The 300 yard plates being short fat and VERY thick they don't ring well. I wish they had hanging plates like at 400 yard but I felt that would have been a bit ambitious trying to hit something at 400 yards like that. I'll get more video this weekend. I was thrilled the bullets were still stable at that distance.
Flewis, dont forget that if you have any issues with the subsonics cycling you can use a reduced power recoil spring or lighten the buffer. The later wont cost anything & is easy to do! Ron
