I have Hornady dies.
You should be able to turn the top "threaded knob" clockwise w/o a shell in the reloading die (w/your shell sitting in the base) & it should push the bullet further into the case for each clockwise rotation you make.
Do you have a web link to the dies?

I'll have to tinker with the dies, but I have another problem to deal with first. I got the rounds chambering, but... D'oh. Nothing cylces!

So it did go bang but would not eject the shell & p/u a new one into the chamber?
I fixed that in mine by putting in a CAR Buffer.

Mine has the CAR buffer and spring, it will eject the case but not cycle fully.

is it an A2 stock or a CAR stock

He has a kit just for the 300 Whisper that has a very light spring & a very light buffer.
Tell him you were talking to Pitt.
DO NOT use it w/full power loads.
