Hello and a plea for help

Hello everyone.

I am sorry to introduce myself with a question, but I need your help please.

I have a Raglan 5 lathe. Its old, but it works - or it did until earlier today.

I use the lathe to make components for Air Rifles - mainly sound moderators, air strippers and muzzle flip compensators.

The Raglan 5 is belt driven, and it would appear that some if not all 3 of the drive belts are wearing and they have stretched.

Can anyone please tell me how I can adjust the slackness out of the belts ?

There is no obvious adjustment screw or tensioning device, does anyone have any experience with this particular machine ?

Cheers
Paul

Also, years ago I wrote a few articles for a British hobby machinist mag called Model Engineer. Do you know if they are still in business???
