Question Very Dull LanCay M9 Bayonet

I just received a new LanCay M9 bayonet--got it off Ebay. I believe it's only been factory sharpened, but they did a very poor job. the tip is so thick, there's almost no edge. It's supposed to be military issue, but I think any soldier would have a hard time with such a dull blade. Can someone tell me, do all the new LanCay M9s come like this? Thanks.
