I don't know about a poster, but I have a copy of a four-part 1992 SABC article on the Phrobis MPBS M9 written by Homer Brett. Part III is all about Colonel L.L. Millett (U.S.A. Ret.). He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for leading a bayonet charge during the Korean War, on a ChiCom held hill which was a serious threat to U.S. positions, and had to be taken. With such credentials, he was the ideal candidate to become a spokesman for Phrobis. Colonel Millett visited numerous U.S. Army units then receiving the MPBS M9 to help introduce & familiarize the troops with the new bayonet. The article also stated the Colonel was given a XM9, upon which he conducted his own series of extensive tests; the only fault being the very tip of the blade being broken. This was revealed as well in the XM9 trials, and redressed by slight modifications in the concave grinding of the blade & tip found in all subsequent M9 bayonets produced.

Thank you for your information.
I didn't know Millett was given one XM9.
But I did know about the medal because of an old article from the Frank Trzaska's website

The small note is titled "Korea, 1951".
I was impressed by the picture, as it is the same as the one shown above (top part).
Anyway, I'm sure a "poster" or a big size picture do exist, as I have seen one picture of it in a book.
Could it be in the Maddox's book?

I have a small copy of that poster that is signed to me by Colonel Millett. I also have a wall sized poster. It may be shown in the photograph of me in the front of Jim Maddox's book.

The last time a took a look at that book was almost 1 and half year ago .... but my memory still serves me well!
Do you think there are chances to find a copy of the poster?

The one I have is the only one I've ever seen. There are companys that make posters from photographs. Maybe you could have one made.

I just happen to read, in the current SABC journal, that Col. Millett died last November 2009 at 88 years old.
