Central Machinery Metal lathe gear needed

I am posting this for my brother-in-law. He has a Central Machinery metal lathe that needs a new 3 1/4 plastic gear (don't know the name). Any help or info locating a gear would be appreciated. I have serial # etc. Have attached a picture. Dave

Well to help whoever he gets on the phone I would count the number of teeth the gear is suppose to have as that is what they go by. Also if you could get the outside and inside measurements in mm I am sure it is probably metric. Harbor Freight use to carry some spare parts for their CM brand machines but havent dealt with them for awhile. If they aren't of any help the guys at Grizzly are really nice and its a good chance one of their lathes was made in the same factory and they may have a gear that will fit but have to remember you will be asking them to try to help fix another brand lathe so you have to be extra nice. If it is smaller than a 9x20 then The Little Machine Shop may have a gear to fit it. Good luck.
