rLL and Ceiner Kit

I'm currently in the market for a rLL and have a question. On your Lightning Link page, you state that getting a Ceiner to run with a rLL can be tough. So, I assume it's possible. Do you know, or know of anyone that does, how to modify the kit to function with a rLL? I've been studying the kit's design and function and have some ideas, but they seem pretty iffy to me. Is the conversion something that a smith should do, or can the regular WECSOGer handle it? Thanks.

This is a possible task... Curcuits of AR15.com faime used to do a few of these but he stopped working on these as many as 2 or 3 years ago now. He stopped doing the convesion as he indicated that they were very finiky and as you may know getting a Ciener kit to run with a Registered Receiver is tough enough...

Just the same, what needs to be done is to make a replacement piece that is like the M-16 trip except it needs to be longer so that the trip is in the proper location to interact with the link. I don't have a Ciener kit anymore or I would take some photos to get the point accross but if you get a ciener kit and mount it in an upper receiver without the lower in place you can figure the dynamics out fairly easily.

Now, the new belt fed 22LR upper that is comming out may be a better way to go and I am still looking for photos or waiting to get to look at one of the new Bushmaster 22LR AR-15s. Either of these may be much easier to get to run with the link...

As for myself, I also have a Vector UZI and it is my 22LR bullet hose these days. For your sake, I hope you decide to get the link as it is a hugely versitile system even if I don't et to shoot it as much as I would like....

Good info. Thanks for the reply. I may have a problem as my Ceiner doesn't have the sear trip (semi version). It looks like I'll have to look into a rLL compatable .22 upper or something. Thanks again.
