Ontario sharpened?

Does the knife come sharpened from the factory?

it does. it just came today. It could probably be sharper but it's ready for use. Odd that nobody could tell me that.

I wish the blade didn't have the black finish. Since it's obvious that the black is just going to rub off after use anyways. after years of use but still, why have it.

Just seen your post today.

The M9 (and M7) section of this board seems a little slower than the other areas. Hopefully this section will pick up in popularity as this is the best board for the M9s online that I have found yet.

It's the standard milspec finish starting with the LanCay second contract.
Since then all M9s for the military have the black oxide coating.
