Powder sticking to funnel...
I have a Lyman Powder Pal plastic powder funnel that I am using to precisely measure subsonic loads on an electronic scale. The problem I am having is that the powder (Hodgdon H110) sticks to the sides of the funnel requiring me to tap on the funnel for quite some time to get all the powder to release and fall down into the case. I am not sure if the problem is with the plastic being pourous or if it is a static charge issue.
Are there alternative funnels of a different type material or should I wax/coat/wipe the inside of the Lyman funnel with something to make it less pourous or to change the static charge?
I prefer this type funnel because, after zeroing out the scale with the funnel on top, I can pour and trickle powder directly into the funnel to arrive at a precise load (my scale measures to the nearest .015 grain). If required, I would consider an alternative method of arriving at the same result.
