Can anyone give me the specifics of this blade?

I just bought a new LanCay M-9, and I would like to know if there is any info you guys can tell me.

Here is a pic of the markings:

There is no fuller.

Pic of the knife with the scabbard:

From what I read, due to LanCay being spelled without a hyphen and the letters not being all the same size, this is a first contract knife.

I would appreciate ANY additional info, most importantly:

1) Is this knife particularly collectable compared to other LanCay's (especially in its new condition)?

2) Is this knife from a run that has a reputation for breakage?

3) What do you think it is worth?

Thanks in advance

DJGhost.

Ist Contract LanCay M9 Bayonet circa 1993-1994

Sir,
Your M9 LanCay is a first contract model, before the "Product Improved" version. Circa 1993 1994 with the cutter plate screw driver on the side. It is a good bayonet. No problem with blade. Nice collectable USGI bayonet. Pancanal
