New 12 ton Homier press

Homier came to town today and I am now the proud owner of a second 12 ton press. Too cheap compared to Harbor freight to pass up. I was getting ready to load the press box on a dolly when a voice asked if wanted one. When I said yes, he said I'll get it for you, Sir and have it at door to help load it. What service! He did too. I am thinking of going back tomorrow and buying a new compressor, also.

Homer Who?

I'd never heard of them before, so I checked their website and was shocked by the prices... Is there stuff on par qualitywise with Harbor Freight's? I see they're going to be about 40mi from my house on Tuesday and I might check it out. A man can never have to many tools right? I could use a new press too, since my old one is the one I used to swing from when I was a kid. Not to mention $50 for a 12 ton press is a deal and a half...

Many people find their stuff is as good or better. Much of it comes out of the same Asian factories. Go look and enjoy. I have been buying their stuff for a long time and never been unhappy.

Their customer service is exceptional, but they've sent me two twelve-ton presses and each time the box has disintegrated in shipping causing it to lose important parts. The second one was free of charge, and when I told them it was missing parts they offered to refund my money no questions asked. I like these people, but I do wish they'd ship in better boxes

Maybe the shipper needs to take better care of the boxes. Some are not to gentle with the stuff.

Actually since I like them so much I bought my spot-welder from them too. It came well-packed, and seems to work well. It cost only $100. These guys rock.

Guess I am lucky I have 1 of their store's about 35 miles from me, I went there today to look at the presses then came back home to make sure the 12 ton had the clearance to be able to put together my Russian RPK kit as well as my Russian SVD Dragunov, of course the Krinks only have 7.25" barrels so they are a little easier to fit in there
I think if I make a barrel clamp to hold the barrel about the middle I can use the 12 ton to press it in the receiver after I get the trunnion riveted in.
Anybody used the Homier 12 to for this purpose?
Does the 12 ton have the room to press in a full size AK Barrel?
Thanks for any info
RemMax
