I recently purchased the ergonomic Lan-Cay and have to say I was not all that impressed. It is a little to smooth. I felt control of the knife was comprimised. But thats just my opinon! You may want to try an Ontario M-10. It is not a military issue bayonet but looks identical to the M-9. It has more of an oval handle and has a carbon 1095 blade instead of modified stainless. Do a search on eBay. Ontario does not have it on the website.
