I got your PM... You indicated that you feel there are others that have had problems. Please post links to show that or have those people post here.

I have never dealt with Keith in the past so I can not say good or bad about the man... If he (or anyone else) is dishonest or a thief they are not welcomed here and will be gone...

Perhaps you need to be working with Keith to figure out what is going on and if other are having problems have them come here... $90 is a small sum of money for someone to lose their reputation over...

EDIT - I moved your post here... Spamming the board will also not be tolerated...

Arrow 300Whisper Brass

After I wrote the two negative reply's last night about David Davis and not receiving my brass from him. Much to my surprise when I got home from work today at 4:30 pm there was a big USPS truck driving down my dead end street with a package from TN. The package was dated 4/26/06 at 5:55pm. I have not counted the brass yet but all of the rounds are military surplus. I will deal with it and keep the brass but I thought it would be Federal commercial brass. No MUD SLINGING or SPAMMING intended just wanted everyone to be aware of this problem incase others were ripped off. As it turned out I think my letter is the reason I have my brass now. Regards Wally

For the record i was wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wrong!! Back a few years ago I setup a machine to turn .223 brass in .300 whisper brass to feed my shooting habit like most here I fell in love with that little round. My intent was to provide myself with a cheap yet plentiful source of brass. Via my contacts here on the internet and local gun shows at first I did trade limited amounts for bullets, primers, powder etc…it got to the point I’m selling it to feed my next toy.
To date I have sold little over 300,000 rounds. I have had to work out a couple issued with trim length but in the long run all were happy. I no longer advertise my brass for repeat customers and word of mouth keep me busy, for I only do this on a part time basis. Well things around home as of late have been crazy, work called me out of town, had a death in the family and the resent storm we had here in Tennessee took most of my roof. With that my priorities have been, to say the least have gotten out of order. I did shipped three orders late. Also I did state I was out of remington brass and was shipping federal brass. The federal brass is the Eagle brand from a police department and comes with a FMJ bullets and crimped primer pocket. I could understand how one would take it to be military brass based on the crimped primer pocket. It’s my understanding that military brass is just that military brass and manufactured at Lake City and comes with a LC head stamp. The federal eagle brass comes with a FC 04 head stamp and I have removed the crimp. But I won’t let my reputation ride on the last three orders. Things are some what back to the norm here. With that Wally in the mail Monday will be a full refund and 500 rounds of remington .300 whisper primed brass, please just throw out the federal brass you took as military brass. I stated I was out of remington brass, this is brass I had set back for myself. Again I was wrong and my intent is to make things right and my end state is your happiness with my brass. If you have recieved brass from me and your not happy please contact me, for i will make it right!!!!

I’m Sorry !!!!!!! David Davis

Also with that an understanding of my name and email address. My name is David Keith Davis. I wanted in intergrade my name in my email address and david__davis@ayhoo.com was taken so I settled on keith__davis@yahoo.com there was a question about that, also that is two underscores between my name not one, for the one with one underscore was taken also.

I can say that I have ordered from him twice. The first 500 came in about three days. I then ordered 1000 and waited and waited. David said he shipped them and his word is good for me. Finally 3 or 4 weeks later I get the pink card from the post office saying last chance, come get it or it's going back. I went and got it. The postmark date was about four weeks old. I later was cleaning out the flowerbeds and found the first notice that had been blown away from the door weeks prior. David Davis= A+ in my book. US Postal Service F. I hope he continues to make it available to us!

Update: I refunded his money and sent more brass!!

As you can see i had a guy upset with me over some brass i shipped late. Death in the family, lose my roof here in Tn to the storms and work etc....but no reason to ship the brass late and he was upset that the federal brass i use as he statred was military brass. Well i had him keep the 500 round of federal brass i shipped and i returned the 90.00 and also sent him 500 more of brass made from remington brass, i know i started i was out of remington brass but to make this right i pulled some out of my personal stuff. So long story made short, i shipped him 500 round of federal brass late and he was upset so i sent 500 more remington and refunded all his money. With that he hasn't answered any of my emails i would like to make sure he is happy?? With that i would like to again say I'm sorry and i do continue to make and sell brass.
thanks for your time.

Sounds like you have gone way above and beyond what I'd consider a spectacular effort to make things right!

FYI - I shot some of your brass this past weekend, and it worked great! Well, except for not being able to find all the empties! So with that, I'll be placing an order for a few thousand more. Look for an email in the next week or two!

Thumbs up Davis gets my recommendation!!

I just want to put in a good word for David Davis and his brass. I did have a small issue with a shipment getting out late. When I emailed to ask David about it he made everything good as soon as he got back to town, the brass arrived a couple of days later. He even went so far as to send me an extra 500 cases and a whole bunch Sierra bullets to make up for my order being a little delayed. He did this even though I told him he didn't need to send anything extra. He insisted and did it anyway. I couldn't believe it. Oh, and the best thing is this....THE BRASS IS VERY NICE!!!
