UAE Marked Commercial M7-B Bayonets

A small number of the Ontario M7-B commercial bayonets have turned up with the grip marked UAE (instead of US Army). Any ideas whether they are contract overruns that snuck into the domestic supply chain, Chinese knock offs, or ?

These are not Ontarios. They are a Chinese manufactured piece. Don't know for sure if they are a legitimate contract item or something that was made up for commercial sales. Two or three years ago someone was selling them on ebay quite regularly. I bought five or six from him for about $16 each. Some were marked "Made in China" on the blade, others weren't.

Thanks!

I am a little skeptical of their being contract pieces too. Perhaps it is just the camera angle, however, the crest looks like an American eagle that has been tarted-up to look Arabic, rather than the UAE crest. I would think that a customer with as deep of pockets as the Emirates would have insisted on the correct artwork. Hopefully, more information will emerge at some point to clarify things.
