Savage 3screw target action?
AFAIK its a normal Savage action.
No nut 23 1/4" long 1.25" diameter Lilja on a Savage action, with a Bell and Carlson stock (Looks like a medalist) and a Leupold VXIII

Here is his rig down the page a bit - DK223

I am thinking about building one as we have a 223 savage.

Either that or a 308 arrow, 7mm TCU, 6.5 TCU. Still have not decided
yet.

It will mostly be for hogs so bigger bullet the better.

I really think a 300 Arrow loaded with the 300 blk 110 gr TTSX would be the best out to about 200 yards. Big hole.
Then again I can get a 308 barrel for cheap so....

Also been considering a 8mm-223.

I just have 3k in 223 brass that needs a load.

That said the 25-223 is a really nice round.

Well, the great thing about building on a Savage action, is that all you will have to do is swap barrels for this puppy.
I almost want to build one now. :D don't have time to shoot what I already have. :(
