From Joe " GOD " Houser from BUCK planet ...

... add. informations of the MONSTER BUCK 9" ...

Mister Moon,
I was watching that auction with great interest! I am glad that you won it. In my humble opinion, those long bladed 184's are the TOP Buckmaster to find for a collector. I think that the ONLY one better would be a prototype. I know the seller and gave her the info.

Here is the list of long bladed 184's that came out of the Buck Custom shop:
9" blade...3 made
9 1/2" blade...2 made
10" blade...2 made
11 1/2" blade...1 made

Only 3 of them and you have one now!!! But now you have to find the other 3sizes!

Mister Moon,
I honestly don't know anything about this knife (have interest in the M9 bayonet only ) but from the message you received by Houser I understand you have a very rare piece there!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, I originally owned that knife! I ordered it directly from Buck back in the late 80's, and I sold it to a Buck Regional Salesman [ I believe] in the mid 90's. If I recall his check was drawn from " Pentagon Federal Credit Union".

YESSIREEE! That's the knife I originally owned ! I recognize the letter and sheath. Well at least it's in a Collectors Hands. I didn't know it was going to have the 0001 serial number on it as I'd ordered it to use. Once I saw the serial number on it I felt maybe I should put it aside.
