T/C Contender Questions - Looking to buy a pistol frame and want to confirm...
I have a long history and experience base with the T/C Contender as my father has owned one for many years and he has barrels in 22LR, 222, 223, 30/30 and perhaps a few more.
I have put off buying a Contender long enugh and I am starting to search for a decent deal on a frame (or complete pistol) here locally. I am curious if anybody can confirm that the older Contender frames that had the engraved image on the sides of the receiver are the only contenders that have the adjustable trigger.
Secondly, does the adjustable trigger really matter?
I will be settin this up for 223 and 300 Whisper and I will likely look for 14-inch barrels with similar if not identical scopes and mounts so that I can varming in the summer in 223 and have a similar setup for deer with the 300 Whisper in the fall.
I tried to convince my father to sell me his but at last NO JOY as he has shot a few too many deer and other critters with it so I need to buy my own...
