New Phrobis: have some questions

I was given this m9 Phrobis III yestorday and wanted to just make sure it's the real deal or not. I've been after one of these knives since i was a young lad (I'm only 21) and just want to make sure it's the one.

I also want to know how to get the few specs of rust/stains off the blade without ruining it.

looks to me absolutely original.
A fine example of a "four line" military contract M9.
Perhaps you could post some more pictures of the scabbard.

Try a stiff tooth brush and some light machine oil on the rust stains. If that doesn't work to your satisfaction, you could try a little 0000 steel wool and oil, but that might make a bright spot on the blade.

As for the rust, I had very good result using a soft-white pencil eraser , like the one shown here

...it takes a lot of time but gives no damage at all to the blade

Would anyone want to buy this? I've had it for like 2 months now and kind of lost interest in it or something. I guess now that I finally got a hold of one the excitement wore off

Any bidders?

You can set a price on it and post it in the "For Sale" column or post it on ebay. This is not a sales or auction forum.

Meh just wondering. I don't have a credit card or I would have already done the ebay thing.
