Rem Mdl 7 300AAC blackout is gone!

Talked to a local sporting store buyer, and he had a customer place an order for the Rem 7 300 WTF, and was told by the distributor that remington is not going to be making any of these,,, some kind of an issue with AAC.
Glad i wasn't wkaiting for one of these!

Remington was never going to make them. They were always going to be made at AAC. All of the parts are in and they are being assembled now.

So AAC will offer an "off the shelf" 300 BLK rifle on a Remington bolt action? What action and stock? Price? Not that I need one now. I chose to make a "switch barrel" rifle using a Rem 700 223 PSS and a 300BLK AAC barrel.

Yes, it is a Model-7 with a synthetic stock. 16 inch nitrided threaded lightweight barrel. Thread protector. Adjustable cheek piece. Custom AAC-designed Pictatinny scope rail included with Torx-head-screws, which if I remember correctly (it has been a while since I designed this) uses M24 base screws so they are beefier than the normal model 700 screw threads. I think MSRP is $899.

Will it be available through Remington like the AAC 700 SD is?

No, the Remington 700 SPS AAC-SD is a Remington designed, assembled, and distributed rifle. And uses a Remington made non-nitrided barrel.

The Model-7 in 300 AAC BLACKOUT is designed by AAC (but with access to Remington drawings), assembled at AAC by a small team of people, and shipped from AAC. The barrel is nitrided and made to AAC specifications but not made by Remington.

Features:

Weather-proof synthetic stock with AAC adjustable cheek piece.

Muzzle threaded 5/8-24 for compatibility with sound suppressors. AAC thread protector included.

Carefully Assembled in small batches at AAC on Remington-supplied custom actions.

X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger.

AAC Picatinny scope mount pre-installed using the same beefier Torx screws as used in the US Army's M24 sniper rifle.

Nitrided light weight 1/8 twist 16" barrel, for extreme hardness and long life.

MSRP is $899.
