Any idea ....

if I can convert a Bushmaster Carbon 15 to chamber and shoot the 300 Whisper?

What would I have to do if this can be done?

If the barrel goes on as a standard AR type barrel I would say yes.
Have you seen an exploded view - does it have standard design?

I believe it does attach the same as an AR type of barrel, but just to be sure, I attach the following link for your inspection:

Scoots,

Be careful when trying to interchange any of the carbon 15 parts with regular ar15 parts. I owned one when the Professional Ordnance name was on the side. THEN, almost none of the parts would interchange. I haven't inspected one now that Bushy is selling them, so I don't know if they made any changes to get these things closer to milspec. Wish I could be of more help. I've always said that the carbon platform is a great idea in certain applications. Good luck and I hope it works for you. Let us know how it goes.

J
