? for alleycat or anyone else using outlaw bullets

What was your recipe for the load on the 240 outlaw bullets, I'm usually using either 1680 or 4227,(I run only subsonics)I also have 296 but never got to it since the 1680 worked so well. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks and if you have load info on any of the other outlaw bullets lets here them! inquiring minds want to know thanks

In a 20" .308 win I have used 210gr and 225gr heavy brass like LC, FED, Lapua, with 12grs of IMR SR4759 and FED 215 primer. Both bullets loaded into the rifling. I will have to get back to you with the 300WTF load I don't have the info with me.

240 OUTLAW from 16 inch, pistol gas= 9.8 H-110 6.5 rem primer or 9.6 V-110.
Using 1680 I would start at 11.5 grains. What gas system and length of barrel are you running?

I run VVN110. 10 grs with a 240 OutLaw or a 240 SMK gets me about 1050ish out of my 16" gun. I run 8.9 grs out of my 10.5 Blackout for the same speed. What ever you load your 240SMKs will be close to the OutLaws.

In a 308 and a 225 RN OutLaw, I use 11.6 grs of Trail Boss for 1050.

300 Whisper and a 225 RN OL, I use 9.8 grs of N110

300 Black out and a 220 spitzer BT, 8.4 grs of VV N110

220 Out Law spitzer flat base. OOPS

I'm running a 16" model 1 upper with a gas block from TP555( I run it in the closed position alot, poor mans bolt gun I guess) the recipe I've been running for years is 11.2 gr of 1680 under a 220smk / 225 hoch cast, I beleive the COL is at 2.125 if I remember right???cycles the action, very consistant for me, really never did the 240smk , but now gonna try the outlaws 240's getting ready for deer season early this year and got some piggys that are takin over the place and just wanting to tinker with the whisper, just put a nikon gold scope on that really works well with my ITT mono that I had picked up back in the clinton years, never thought I would say this but I wish we still had that clown instead of the bozo we got now but I digress! When I get the outlaws I'll have to load a few and pull the chrony out and see what I can work up

Don't get me wrong they are not on my wish list either, its just when clinton was in. I thought damn it can't get any worst that this, sucked it up bought the ITT mono, got into reloading my own stuff, not that I am a doomsdayer, I'm a hunter and I need the ammo for that, not some Gvmnt hack trying to control my life, which is what I think the Gvmnt will do one day they wont outlaw guns they will outlaw bullets(pardon the pun there paul) or price them out of reach, If I could give any advice to a newby is LEARN TO RELOAD,its not hard, a little start up cost will get it done, and it saves you$ $ in the long run,,,but back to what I said that I did not think it could get any worst than clinton man was I wrong look where we are at now, slippery slope to the abyss, the clowns there now are purposely driving us into ruin, look at nasa, now we will have to go and beg russia/china if we want to do something in space WTH, mlitarys need satelites, we are going to ask our enemys to help us defeat them???? What kinda logic is that??? No the clowns in DC do not stand for what our founding fathers of this country stood for FREEDOM/LIBERTY the clowns stand for POWER/GREED/CONTROL at all cost selling out our country, screwing us our children, grand children,,,,,Ok I am off my soapbox now,,, back to orig of the post got some stuff today from you paul, that was fast and I do appreciate it will start working up some loads and play, thanks again
